Tuesday is a Portland based artist, designer and illustrator with a lifelong interest in the strange and bizarrely beautiful. With an interest in design, fine art and illustration, they bring a unique well rounded perspective to any project. While they make a lot of digital work, traditional mediums like graphite, paint and pastels are present in everything they make.

Most pieces center around women, animals, insects and plants, emphasizing the common contradiction between grotesque and gorgeous that exists in the natural world. Tuesday’s work features heavy influences from antiques, mid century modern design and goth, grunge, and punk subcultures.

In their free time they can be found in basically any artistic endeavour, including film photography, printmaking, sculpture, nail art, embroidery — basically anything artisanal and creative. They are rarely seen without their ball python (and soul mate) Zuko, who is featured many times throughout their work.
